Joyce the founding owner of Rural Rides, with a life-long passion for horses and a keen endurance rider having competed in many rides of up to 50 miles in a day and for many years running national one and two day endurance competitions. Notably, she participated in the week-long “Ride of the Muskateers” from Windsor to Paris – finishing with a parade along the Champs Elysses to the Arc de Triomphe and a charity ride from North Wales to Southampton over 3 weeks.

Kim our very talented ‘Artist on horseback’ who has an excellent sense of humour as can be seen in the cartoon strip of our horses, will paint a true likeness of your favourite horse or dog as well as being a book illustrator and international wildlife painter.

Liz who used to ride with us and has recently upgraded her BHS exam as a fully qualified ride leader.

Margaret a retired school teacher with years of extensive experience with horses and who schools our horses for us.
